Nutrition plan

Why have a nutrion plan?

A nutrition plan must satisfy the energy and nutrient need of the horse. Way too many horses are not supplied with enough energy and nutrients in the right amount.

The nutrition of the horse must always be optimized or else it will affect the performance of the horse.

The nutrition must be adjustet according to the need and the performance of the horse.

If the horse is not getting proper nutrition it will effect its physique - the muscles of the horse are depending on proper nutrition in order for it to perform at its best and avoid injuries.

A nutrition plan should be adjustet according to these following factors:

Changes in the intensity of the training
If the horse is racing
If the horse competes
If the horse is too bold or too skinny
If the horse is pregnant or nursing
If the horse is growing
If the horse is injured
It may be necessary to change the feeding products
If the horse is being rehabilitated
If the horse has digestion problems
