The horse as an athlete The horse is a top athlete. Physical and psychological well-being for a top athlete is a very important factor. Therapy treatments can advance the daily weel-being. In the long run a stressed out nervous system can affect the muscles, the organs and the immune system. Massage prevents tensed muscles, tendons, joints and the nervous system. If the horse has eating disorders, allergies, back problems, etc., accupressure can relieve these problems. NB: Remember that massage and accupressure is NOT a replacement or an alternative to veterinarian treatments.
